A Day Out With Thomas

Today we spent the day with Thomas the Train. To say that Brooklynn was excited to be there would be a huge understatement! She got to play with trains, jump in a Thomas bounce house, visit the Thomas gift shop, and of course ride Thomas the Train. We all enjoyed the train ride! At the end of the afternoon we were all exhausted, Brooklynn even left without any problems (of course that could be because she wanted to get home and open her new train set).

Last weekend Brooklynn celebrated her friend Madi's 4th birthday! The girls had a great time and partied for 4 hours!!!

The past three days at our house have been solely dedicated to potty training Miss Brooklynn. I have to say it's going much better than expected. Over the past three days we've only had one accident! We are sooooo proud of her! As a reward she earned the Yo Gabba Gabba hat/sunglasses she's been asking for! I think she looks adorable in them!

Over the weekend Brookolynn went to a birthday party for her friend Travis. The party was at the Air and Flight museum in Dallas. She had so much fun and didn't want to leave (of course).

We're Back!

Wow, I can't believe it's been almost 2 months since my last post! Here are a few pics taken over the last few months and we're officially back on the blog!

Each class at Brooklynn's school replicated art work from a famous Latin American artist for the school's annual Student Art Exhibition. Brooklynn's class replicated 20th Century Mexican Masters by Mexican artist Rufino Tamayo. It literally took weeks for the students to complete their pieces. Personally, I think Brooklynn's is a masterpiece!
